Building Strategic Partnerships & Coalitions

Social change agents hoping to have large-scale impact can no longer go it alone. In the corporate sphere, companies routinely create networks to facilitate long-term coordination, leverage relationships and expand capacity.

Social change organizations can benefit from this model of long-term strategic partnerships. Too often, coalitions in progressive circles grow out of a specific campaign or urgent need and then get dismantled once short-term goals are reached. We provide a curriculum and leadership development model used around the country to help groups of organizations move beyond the rhetoric of unity to building long-lasting coalitions.

This curriculum provides the systems and tools that serve as the building blocks for a coordinated commitment to change.
